    Overview:

     

    Blackhawk Network is transforming and growing at a fast pace and the Business Systems Product Management team is looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven Product Owner to shape BHN’s Core Partner & Product onboarding processes and define new products and features or enhance existing ones to support the onboardings.

     

    This position is located in Pleasanton, California.

    Responsibilities:

    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

     

    Strategic Tasks:

    • Improve customer experiences flow while iterating features with better processes, system enhancements, UX designs and dashboards
    • Manage from concept to launch, collaborating with internal experts and clients to produce intelligent and insightful processes
    • Create holistic solutions partnering with technical program managers and engineers to deliver on product roadmap
    • Build, develop and manage the product roadmap for services and features
    • Own the launch and release plans, collaborating with Account Managers, Marketing, Accounting and Sales to ensure proper prioritization of product features
    • Create features, write user stories and maintain a healthy backlog of items to be worked on
    • Leverage deep understanding of competitive landscape to identify distinctive advantages and apply them in our solutions
    • Write detailed feature specifications based on product requirements and communicate the requirements to all stakeholders
    • Translate specific complex processes into generic processes and product designs that satisfy multiple use cases
    • Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to adapt to change

     Continuous Improvements:

    • Identify root causes and common issues as part of this initiative when in discovery sessions, requirements, development and testing mode
    • Define and recommend solutions (process or system)
    • Work with business stakeholders, various engineering teams to implement and test enhancements

    Foster and maintain key relationships throughout the organization in order to facilitate teamwork across departments.

    Qualifications:

    Required

    • BA/BS or equivalent practical experience.
    • 6+ years of experience with understanding and improving processes and at least 4+ years of technical product management experience
    • Inquisitive personality
    • Attention to big picture as well as very specific details
    • Experience in managing end to end processes and product launches
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and orientation to details
    • Experience in assessing and anticipating end user requirements to incorporate into the product design
    • Positive attitude and a collaborative approach
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical abilities
    • Team player who is adaptable in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment; able to manage and influence others in a matrixed environment.

     

      Highly DesiredExperience with understanding and improving processes in workspace as it relates to partner & product launches (or similar initiatives)
