    Director of  Finance Automation & Reporting is a member of the financial planning & analysis (FP&A) team. He or she will be responsible for the development of the Finance systems and Business Intelligence (DI)strategy and implementation to enable automation of data flows between various reporting, planning and business intelligence systems. This person will work closely with IT and finance and become the bridge between these functions to drive the “Strategy to Implementation to day to day usage” of Data, BI and reporting dashboards.

    This person will also be tasked with driving the ideation & development of reports and dashboards to support Business intelligence, Analysis work and Operational and financial progress tracking for each business segments.

    This person will work with the CFO, VP finance and FP&A leads of each business segment to develop the reporting, forecasting and interim period progress reporting package via automation and dashboards.

    This person is also expected to guide and develop strategies for creating and executing analytics solutions that lead to improvement and optimization in business performance and risk minimization. He or she will drive decisions based on data, facts and analytical findings across different parts of the organization.  This person will enable finance to provide decision makers across the organization adequately and timely access to data required to make smarter, data-informed decisions. 


    Key Responsibilities

    • Led the FP&A team and IT team on the development of the finance systems and BI systems strategy and set up
    • Collaborate with FP&A and IT team to determine the data flow, the tools and reporting required
    • Gain an in-depth knowledge of stakeholder business needs, underlying data flow/ pools and workflow to be able to recommend solutions to provide the right analytics and reporting to stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with FP&A business unit leadership to create self-service tools that can deliver rapid, easily understandable visualization of data (i.e., dashboards), benchmarks, and KPIs of both the overall health of the business.
    • Partner with FP&A business segment leaders to utilize dashboard trends to improve accuracy of financial planning and forecasting.
    • Analyze data and trends to help identify strengths and development opportunities within the business segments
    • Identify, introduce and educate business and finance leaders on analytical tools and how to effectively turn analysis into specific recommendations.



    • 10 to 12 years of experience in a Finance IT role or FP&A role with focus on automation, systems implementations, dashboard reporting and Business Intelligence. Experience in working with Corporate data warehouses and integrating new business into data pools will also be helpful
    • Strong experience with ERP systems, financial systems implementation & business intelligence and data visualization tools (i.e., Microstrategy, PowerBI & Tableau)
    • Exceptional planning, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Preferred experience in both fast-paced startup(s) as well as large enterprises who have created solutions at scale.
    • Innovative thinker with intellectual curiosity and a can-do attitude, with an eye to developing and implementing new solutions and tools.
    • Self-motivated, well-rounded, analytical self-starter with ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, environment
    • Sound understanding of BI best practices/ methodologies; experience with relational structures, structured query language (SQL), data warehouse and reporting techniques.
    • Dimensional data modeling and understanding of OLAP
