    The Blackhawk Network Compliance Department seeks a full-time Regulatory Compliance Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the Corporate and Regulatory Compliance function. The ideal candidate will have a background in Governance, Risk and Compliance and be exceptionally organized, resourceful and detail-oriented.


    • Collaborate with business units and functions to support corporate governance: ensure that training, internal controls, and monitoring are adequately implemented by policy owners. Partner with policy owners to develop management reporting relating to policy compliance.
    • Facilitate policy management across the company, including: ensuring adherence to corporate policy templates and guidelines, coordinating policy approval process, communicating to employees on policy updates, monitoring policy exceptions, and managing the periodic review process.
    • Partner with business units and functions to remediate policy exceptions, violations, and gaps.
    • Develop monitoring processes to assess for compliance with key corporate policies such as Code of Business Conduct, Anti-Corruption, Third-Party Risk Management, Expense Reimbursement, Acceptable Use Policy, Personal Information Policy, Anti-Money Laundering Policy.
    • Support Compliance training and awareness initiatives by collaborating with high-risk functions (e.g. sales, technology) to better understand business process risks as they relate to our key corporate policies, and support development of targeted training.
    • Coordinate data analytics activities across monitoring efforts. Identify and develop appropriate tools (structured reports, metrics) to increase the efficiency of monitoring efforts.
    • Assist and develop management reporting to support corporate governance efforts.
    • Support sales initiatives by developing client-facing documentation that describes our risk management and control activities.
    • Participdate or lead in other projects as assigned from time to time.


    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize high volumes of responsibilities without slippage in schedules and deliverables.
    • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships with various business units.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to build reports to define trends and identify exceptions.
    • Excellent judgment, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player.
    • Comfortable with IT systems and technology in general, able to navigate new and custom systems.
    • Desire to learn and explore leading edge industry concepts.
    • General industry knowledge of risk management, internal audit, and compliance.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience 
    • Relevant experience in financial services, regulatory compliance programs, internal audit, or risk management preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft suite; Excel intermediate experience.
    • Certifications relating to project management, internal audit, compliance are a plus
