    Overview:

    The Blackhawk Network Compliance Department seeks a full-time Compliance Analyst. This position will be based in Pleasanton, CA. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and have strong verbal and written communication skills. The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for supporting our corporate Compliance & Ethics program. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement Compliance Communications program, including but not limited to drafting content for newsletters, posters, handouts, videos, in-person training, and websites.
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate Compliance training curriculum and course content. This includes working with internal subject matter experts and service providers to develop video content, procure training content/materials, and building content using independent research.
    • Manage employee enrollment and timely completion of online training programs. Manage training records. Partner with various global HR business partners to align global training requirements with local needs.
    • Oversee and manage our compliance platform and act as business owner and system administrator for the platform. This requires partnering with our Human Resources and Technology teams to define data requirements and manage data feeds. It also requires overseeing our compliance platform service provider to perform testing, track new feature requests and bugs, and manage timely rollout of new features/functions.
    • Support Policy Management Program: ensure policy owners use proper company templates; provide guidance on policy documentation, coordinate approval of policies, and manage policy version control and update to our policy library.
    • Conduct assessments and surveys to periodically evaluate training and communication needs. Provide reporting and metrics on the Compliance Training and Communications program.
    • Assist with assessing and validating business risks, and support the review of policies and the monitoring and testing of controls designed to address these risks.
    • Collaborate with business process owners to develop and monitor key controls to support company policies.
    • Manage Compliance inbox and respond to employee questions and concerns relating to code of conduct and conflicts of interest.
    • Develop industry knowledge of regulatory requirements as they evolve over time.

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent communication and writing skills. Ability to translate dense/legal language into concise, conversational, engaging, and easy-to-understand language.
    • Experience developing training content, presentations, and employee communications.
    • Proficient in working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Comfortable working with data sets and reporting.
    • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships with various business units
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize high volumes of responsibilities without slippage in schedules and deliverables. Project management experience with ability to write detailed business requirements and support projects through the software development lifecycle is a plus
    • Excellent judgment, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player, and the ability to function in a highly confidential environment

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • Two years relevant experience in communications, training, risk management, audit, or business analysis
    • Certified trainer a plus
    • Project management certification a plus
    • Familiarity with GRC (governance, risk management and compliance) software tools a plus
