    We are looking for a Senior Accountant to be a part of our growing digital business.  The position will be responsible for creating and developing processes and accounting for this line of business. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and should be able to build relationships across the company to lay out processes and become the subject matter expert in this space.  As the accounting lead for our digital business, the Senior Accountant will be expected to be a leader in collaborating across multiple teams to allow the company to best manage and account for this activity.


    • Managing digital gift card revenue accounting including analysis of card usage
    • Responsible for high volume, complex account reconciliations, determining new processes for our digital line of business, deciphering anomalies and enhancing data accuracy, performing root cause analysis, and recommend solutions
    • Manage period end reporting processes for digital business including accruals and preparing schedules as required to support accurate reporting of financial results
    • Participates in both formal and informal reviews with business units to ensure financial statement disclosures are complete and accurate
    • Work with cross functional teams to build strong understanding of business needs and reach consensus on effective solutions
    • Responsible for improving financial reporting and functionality, evaluating the adequacy of internal controls and reviewing key business processes, making improvements where necessary
    • Interpret contract language, ensuring compliance within accounting guidance and advising senior management of findings
    • Responsible for documentation of processes, and for sharing process reviews with other key members of the organization
    • Responsible for processing large volumes of transactions and reconciling all to supporting documentation
    • Work with both internal and external auditors to provide timely and accurate supporting documents and schedules for both SOX and Financial Audits


    • BA/ BS in Accounting required.
    • Minimum 7+ years of related Accounting experience.  Experience in growing mid to large size businesses
    • Experience in all cycles of a financial closing process (revenue recognition, accrual set-up and execution, account reconciliation, etc.) and complete understanding of GAAP reporting requirements, internal controls and SOX compliance
    • Demonstrated track record of developing and improving processes in a growing fast paced environment
    • Experience working in a high transaction volume environment
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
    • Experience with ERP System, Microsoft Dynamics a plus
    • Systems experience – experience using multiple subsystems to pull together reconciliation
    • Possess a high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and resourcefulness in order to meet schedules and deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, prioritize appropriately and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to develop strong partnerships and influence people
    • Ability to work independently and resourcefully with minimal supervision and to take on new tasks with varying levels of difficulty and see them through to completion
