    The Sales Account Manager, under the general supervision of The Director of Business development, will be partnering with a wide variety of prospects and internal departments, helping to design and deliver original content solutions for the Blackhawk Network Gift Card Store program.  You will anticipate how decisions are made and understand the impact of recognition on a business.  Working with prospective customers, you’ll set the vision and the strategy for how  


    • Prospect, cold call and develop new business relationships nationally across Canada.
    • Managing complex B2B and B2C sales-cycles and presenting to potential customers to bring on board to our gift card program
    • Maintain accurate sales activity, customer, pipeline, and forecast information
    • Consistently deliver against assigned quota, while prioritizing and delivering outstanding customer sales experience.
    • Achieving individual and team sales targets
    • Demonstrating and sell our products over the phone, via webex and onsite meetings
    • Provide strategic advice and consultation to help our prospects get the best engagement program for their business

    You will have experience working with organizations big and small within the restaurants and retail throughout Canada.  The position requires the ability to develop an account plan and to identify, sell and close large programs with net new clients as well as within an existing client base.  The best candidate must have a consultative/strategic approach to selling our programs to C-level executives and business owners.  Excellent presentation skills, relationship building and leadership qualities are a must.


    • Must be fully bilingual in both English and French
    • 5-8 years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience
    • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
    • Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the C-Levels
    • Experience presenting to large groups in onsite meetings (up to 20 people per meeting)
    • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
