    Overview:

    We are seeking a top flight, passionate and results oriented Sales Professional based on the West Coast.  CashStar is changing the world of gifting from physical to digital and has 200+ leading retail brands on its digital and incentive gifting platform.     The Director West Coast Sales at CashStar will drive strategic retailers to become CashStar clients and seek to execute mutually beneficial retail partnerships across the digital landscape including mobile, gaming, ecommerce, e-tail and social.

    Responsibilities:

     

    You will be responsible for the following:

     

    • Introduce CashStar to “giftable retailers primarily in the apparel, specialty, fine dining, gaming, and other verticals.
    • Lead prospecting and first contact sales efforts.
    • Introduce CashStar to retailers not in the CashStar network.
    • Partner with Sales Development team on leads and follow up with every lead

    Qualifications:

    Typical Experience and Qualifications:

     

    • Significant, relevant sales experience working with marketing, gift card, IT, and e-commerce teams.
    • Proven results in terms of closing first line business.
    • Strong existing network that will help source and facilitate key relationships. (Shop.org, E-Tail)
    • BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience

     

     

    Key Skills/Knowledge:

     

    • Excellent presentation and partner development skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, with the proven ability to motivate staff, peers, prospects, and clients.
    • Salesforce or other CRM platform a plus
    • A self-starter with high energy and a ‘sense of urgency’, you will thrive in a fun, fast-paced startup environment.

     

    Travel required: 30-50%
