    Blackhawk is seeking a Transfer Pricing Tax Manager in Pleasanton, California. The position will be responsible for managing the global transfer pricing area including, but not limited to:

    • Development and implementation of comprehensive worldwide processes and procedures to manage financial intercompany transactions
    • Assist in developing, tracking and reviewing transfer pricing processes, procedures and reports;
    • Manage and review all master and local country files. Manage any separate county related reporting;
    • Manage transfer pricing calculations and journal entries;
    • Provide support for local audits, whether tax or statutory;
    • Monitor intercompany transactions, including management of intercompany agreement documentation and intercompany invoices processes;
    • Establish and maintain close working relationships among various business functions, and assisting with interviews to aid in the execution of studies and to ensure an accurate reflection of Blackhawk’s business facts;
    • Provide analytical support for tax controversy matters and participating in the development and evaluation of strategies to successfully defend tax filing positions;
    • Apply transfer pricing principles in developing practical approaches to various business initiatives;
    • Manage and review all Country by Country Reporting.



    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in accounting, tax or finance
    • Demonstrate technical skills appropriate for the years of experience in the discipline
    • Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage and implement multiple complex projects and communications to both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
    • Experience with OECD based Master File/Local File Documentation and Country by Country Reporting

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • CPA or equivalent licensing and Masters in Taxation or equivalent
    • 10+ years of experience in public accounting
    • 6+ years of experience in the area of transfer pricing
    • Experience in corporate income tax and transfer pricing matters including compliance, audit, systems, research and accounting
    • Technical expertise in transfer pricing
    • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
    • Ability to work with teams in diverse functional areas
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Flexibility in meeting multiple goals
