    Blackhawk Network is actively seeking a Retail Space Planner for the Retail Space Planning Team. The space planner will work with Sales, Account Management, as well as the Business Intelligence & Retail Strategy teams to build planograms for retail clients primarily located in the United States. The Retail Space Planner will work directly with these teams to ensure accurate product allocation on planograms for their assigned Distribution Partner accounts. The Space planner will work in a collaborative environment across various functional areas and may represent the Retail Space Planning team in meetings and assist with other projects as required.


    Essential Duties Include:

    • Adjust and review the planogram attachments that align to the business philosophy and strategy as set forth by Blackhawk Network. Build planograms for bi-annual resets and updates
    • Understand, adjust, and communicate planogram dependencies and rule sets in order to manage planogram attachments
    • Review exception reporting
    • Assists in interdepartmental data sharing responsibilities
    • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with members of cross-functional teams in order to ensure consistency of information, share best practices and develop knowledge.
    • Support In-Store solutions team to ensure that merchandise and space plans are complete and accurate for scheduled in-store activities
    • Must be able to learn systems and relationships between systems quickly
    • Has initiative and ability to multi-task
    • Act with a sense of urgency to provide quick and effective resolutions
    • Work to maximize the success of partner programs at the retail level through the management of product placement on displays
    • Availability to travel approximately 10% of the time


    • 3 - 5 Years JDA or equivalent Space Planning/automation software, JDA greatly preferred
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and work independently
    • Strong interpersonal and client consultation skills
    • Microsoft Office
