    Overview:

    The Sr. HR Generalist will be responsible for administering Human Resources policies, procedures, performance management, employee relations, and general HR support.  In addition, this role is responsible for recruiting for Reno Call Center Employees.  Currently reports directly to the Vice President, Leadership Development.

    Responsibilities:

    Performs a variety of HR duties including, but not limited to the following:
     

    • Responsible for the all of the recruitment activities for the Reno Call Center
    • Manage the full cycle recruiting process ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
    • Partners and meets with hiring managers to analyze and understand position needs
    • Develops innovative, creative and proactive recruitment strategies to meet the business needs of Hiring Managers
    • Manage and implement a variety of HR programs to support a great team member experience
    • Identify process improvements within department and cross functionally
    • Partner with Director to improve employee communications
    • Manage performance review process and Successfactors system administration functions
    • Provide performance management guidance to managers and partner with managers regarding employee relations issues
    • Facilitate and manage new hire orientation and other new hire related training
    • Partner with management to create a strong corporate culture and great place to work
    • Work within our the HRIS System (SuccessFactors)
    • Perform various other HR duties as assigned in support of the HR Department and corporate initiatives

    Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience working directly with management
    • 2+ Experience in full cycle recruiting, preferably with experience sourcing and screening Call Center workforce
    • Experience with and strong working knowledge of HR laws, practices, policies, and models
    • Strong project management and process development skills
    • Demonstrated knowledge in a range of HR areas, including employee relations, performance management, and regulatory compliance
    • Experience working with all levels of the organization with proven ability to interface well with all leadership levels
    • Proven experience working in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
    • Team player with a strong client service orientation
    • Partner closely with HR Talent and Operations team for on-boarding and off-boarding
    • Proven ability to take initiative and exercise excellent judgment
    • Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication ability
    • Able to multi-task, learn, problem solve, prioritize, set and attain goals, and work independently
    • Solid business management and handling of confidential information
    • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills preferred
    • Knowledge of HRIS database/report software preferred
    • Experience with Applicant Tracking System, SuccessFactors LMS, Performance, MBO module a plus
    • Ability to manage through change, work independently
    • Self-motivated, positive and flexible outlook

     

    Education

     

    • Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree within related field preferred
    • PHR/SPHR certification preferred
