    The Blackhawk Network Compliance Department seeks a full-time Associate Regulatory Compliance Analyst. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organized, resourceful and detail-oriented.



      • Perform “Know Your Customer” reviews for our distribution and content partners and onboard partners to Compliance management systems.
      • Formalize standards and procedures for conducting partner due diligence in line with US and international anti-money laundering regulations.
      • Collaborate with international business units to formalize due diligence procedures in their respective regions and monitor for proper implementation.
      • Support Blackhawk Network’s agent supervision program to meet state and federal regulations. Includes participating in store visits to monitor for compliance with CARD Act and state signage posting requirements.
      • Support the Sales team with onboarding aggregators and work with the aggregators to verify their sponsored merchants on an ongoing basis.
      • Develop and maintain a methodology for determining and proactively managing our distribution partner compliance risk profiles and related reporting.
      • Provide data analysis in support of Compliance systems and monitoring projects, including data migration and transaction monitoring activities.
      • Lead or participate in other projects as assigned from time to time


    • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize high volumes of responsibilities without slippage in schedules and deliverables
    • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships with various business units that play key roles in the regulatory reporting process or in the development of supporting systems
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to build reports to define trends and identify exceptions
    • Excellent judgment, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player
    • Comfortable with IT systems and technology in general, able to navigate new and custom systems
    • Desire to learn and explore leading edge industry concepts
    • General industry knowledge of anti-money laundering, risk management, internal audit, and compliance

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • Relevant experience in financial services, regulatory compliance programs, internal audit, or risk management preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft suite: advanced Excel required; strong skills in SQL or Access preferred
    • Project management certification a plus
