    As the technical team lead, The Lead Systems Analyst will drive the vision, roadmap, and execution path for Blackhawk’s global employee productivity, onboarding, and management platforms. This individual will collaborate with the Blackhawk IT teams, Enterprise Project Management Office, and Operational business units to compile requirements definition, functional design, and full direction of the Blackhawk Corporate IT and Employee related platforms. This cross-functional leader will serve as an expert on employee data management, onboarding & offboarding orchestration, and global system delivery and integration. This role will drive alignment across systems and business departments enabling scalable and effective solutions that align with Blackhawks long and short-term goals.


    The ideal individual has a strong base of knowledge around employee management & productivity systems, SOX requirements, and operational processes. This individual must enjoy being a driver for change and thrive on a fast-paced work environment. This individual must be capable of quickly gaining and keeping the trust of business partners via effective and consistent communication.


    This individual should plan on participating in many large-scale project implementations and BHN initiatives – serving as a key resource throughout analysis, design, implementation and testing processes. This individual will also participate in the establishment and enhancement of business processes associated to Corporate IT platforms and adjoining functions.


    • Establish and drive enterprise systems roadmaps, prioritization, communication, and over-arching vision
    • Understand and leverage industry practices, trends, standards, and best in class solutions
    • Elicit, analyze, document and validate internal stakeholder and system requirements working with both business stakeholders and engineering teams
    • Decompose stakeholder and system requirements into functional and non-functional requirements and specifications
    • Specify and maintain requirements artifacts including: Context Diagrams, Process and Workflow Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Use Case Models, and Use Case Specifications
    • Manage the prioritization of requirements against business needs and technology imperatives
    • Drive and document related business processes and operational support documentation in collaboration with stakeholders
    • Conduct research to determine whether solutions to business/technical requirements currently exist within or outside the business unit, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible
    • Provide critical thinking and facilitate discussions needed to drive outcomes and results to meet project goals by serving as cross-work stream SME and escalation point
    • Establish Subject Matter Experts in key departments to leverage and expand expertise throughout the organization
    • Responsible for owning follow ups and closing gaps related to overall project approach, design issues, project execution tasks & issues; take ownership of assigned gaps work with team to resolve and present findings.
    • Provide input to Management Reports to include: Status Briefings, Monthly Status Reports, and Project Metric Reporting
    • Consistently interact professionally and work productively with employees at all levels


    • BA/BS in technology related field or business administration
    • Minimum 10+ years of experience in 3rd party enterprise software implementation.
    • Deep understanding of enterprise systems, functions, and operational process streams, especially onboarding/offboarding, Active Directory management, and employee productivity platforms required
      • Office 365 and Microsoft platform experience a huge plus
      • Acquisition integration and onboarding experience a plus
      • Human Resource Management Software & Systems experience a plus
    • Deep understanding of system integration protocols, processes, specifications management, and implementation required
    • Experience with complex business process reengineering and documentation required
    • Sound problem solving ability (this person will need to be able to ask the right questions and put pieces of the puzzle together between business, IT, and development teams)
    • Proven ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, distinguish user requests from the underlying true business needs
    • Strong negotiation and influence skills.
    • Must be able to lead change and drive alignment towards goals independently and effectively
    • Excellent organization, communication, analysis, and planning skills
    • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with both internal and external customers and vendors
