    Overview:

    We are looking for a Contracts and Partner Commissions Analyst who will be part of the Revenue team in providing timely and accurate pricing lists as well as performing thorough review of contracts.  Blackhawk is looking for a savvy and energetic finance professional who enjoys working in an innovative, high growth organization.  The ideal candidate must possess a “roll up the sleeves” mentality and be willing to take ownership of specific projects and tasks to drive them through to completion.  This position will report to the Senior Revenue Manager.

     

    The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  This person will work closely with and drive alignment across multiple internal stakeholders such as Business Development, FP&A, Sales, Account Management, Legal, Operations and Settlement Operations.  The candidate must have tremendous organizational skills and can juggle multiple priorities at once.  We are looking for someone who will support the growth of our business, thrives and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to support our continued growth and on-going new product launches.

    Responsibilities:

    • Interpret complex, non-standard, and high-volume contractual arrangements
    • Prepare Contract Review Checklists for communication of key contractual terms to various groups within accounting and settlement
    • Generate and maintain pricing lists
    • Prepare ad hoc sales reports and perform  partner commission analyses
    • Partner with international accounting and operations teams
    • Respond to various partner/stakeholder questions and inquiries regarding contract terms and conditions
    • Recommend process improvements or create new processes with an ability to think “outside the box”
    • Partner with settlement operations team to streamline processes, set-up for scalability, and improve the end-to-end contract review process
    • Partner with the business and propose solutions to complex business arrangements
    • Support audits
    • Participate in UATs for system implementation
    • Goal driven and persistent in achieving results, and is accountable for meeting commitments

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
    • 3+ years of accounting and operations experience
    • Experience with contract reviews and interpretation 
    • Detail-oriented
    • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills needed to develop collaborative working relationships with cross functional teams
    • Adaptable and comfortable working in gray area situations
    • Advanced Excel skills
