We are seeking an experienced product marketer for our growing suite of prepaid products. We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who can drive go-to-market strategies and execution. The position will also be responsible for supporting our existing financial and prepaid services categories including new product/services rollouts, category consumer messaging, research, and social media activities.


For success, you must have demonstrated experience collaborating across several functional areas (product management, advertising/promotions, digital, sales, creative services) and exhibit excellent communication skills with internal/external partners. This position reports to the Director of Creative Services.


  • Develop go-to-market vision, strategy, and success metrics for new product offerings
  • Assess new product opportunities and conduct market sizing
  • Be the market expert on target markets, audience, and competition
  • Be a key stakeholder in defining pricing, features, and channel strategy
  • Partner with internal creative team to develop packaging, in-store communication, and sales/training tools
  • Define consumer value proposition and product/service messaging that clearly differentiates Blackhawk’s products/services
  • Develop sales enablement tools to drive prospects through the sales funnel
  • Work effectively in a heavily cross functional, fast-paced environment, especially working across our product, digital, creative, research, and sales teams


  • Excellent communications skills – verbal and written.
  • 7-8 years of product marketing experience.
  • Proven track record of developing launch strategy and go-to-market plans.
  • Marketplace prepaid knowledge a plus.
  • Aptitude to understand product functionality and communicate its business and consumer value.
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation.
  • History of developing effective sales tools.
  • Passion for measurement and metrics.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manager multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in working and presenting to executive level internal team and partners.
  • Ability to influences internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience driving projection in a highly matrix organization.
  • BS degree with marketing concentration. MBA preferred.
