Overview:

Blackhawk Network, a global financial technology company, is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to primarily support the Merchandising team to fill high volume, part-time hourly positions. The ideal candidate will partner with all levels in the organization to lead the hiring process that enables Blackhawk to identify and hire the best talent in the industry. You will leverage your full cycle recruitment skills by driving best practices for interviewing, selecting and hiring while ensuring a high candidate experience. Our ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of agency experience who wants to move into a Corporate Recruiter function. 

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of recruitment activities for the organization
  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
  • Partners and meets with hiring managers to analyze and understand position needs and duties
  • Develop innovative, creative and proactive recruitment strategies to meet the business needs of Hiring Managers
  • Ensures recruiting and employment activities are in compliance with government regulations and Company policies
  • Responsible for candidate management in ICIMS, our Applicant Tracking System
  • Review resumes, pre-screen and interview candidates, and forward qualified candidates to the appropriate Hiring Manager
  • Provide advice and coaching to hiring managers throughout recruitment process
  • Act as liaison between Hiring Managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Interface with all levels of employees to build solid working relationships
  • Assist managers with pre-employment and onboarding process as requested
  • Weekly reports and meetings with the hiring team
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in full cycle recruiting, preferably with experience sourcing and screening hourly/temp workforce
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably ICIMS)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Detail-oriented, consistent, organized, and analytical
  • MS Office suite skills
  • Ability to use good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and initiatives
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and possess a dedication to results
  • Ability to manage through change, work independently with little supervision
  • Self-motivated, positive and flexible outlook
  • Ability to act as a consultant and influence hiring managers
