As Director of Demand Generation, you will be responsible for driving the demand generation strategy for Achievers.  You will own the marketing funnel and be responsible for driving qualified opportunities and operations. You’ll develop and execute both strategic and tactical plans to exceed pipeline and revenue goals. Marketing programs, online marketing, events, and account-based marketing will all be a part of your marketing mix, and you’ll constantly be adding to the mix and optimizing it to ensure we’re capturing demand as efficiently as possible. With responsibility for marketing operations in addition to demand generation, you will always look to improve conversion rates through the funnel by ensuring our marketing systems are nurturing, scoring and routing appropriately and that no good lead is ever left behind. You’ll also own reporting responsibility for the marketing organization, making sure our team, company, and executive team know marketing’s impact on revenue. This role requires a strategic leader that is equal parts creative, operational, collaborative, and revenue-minded.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a Demand Generation team and agency relationships to ensure highest level of thought leadership, performance and results
  • Design, develop and implement Demand Generation strategy
  • Successfully execute the strategies in support of the Achievers mission
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness of demand generation program while working cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams.
  • Create and execute digital programs and campaigns to drive lead generation for mid-market and Enterprise segments
  • Develop and monitor timelines and marketing calendar to ensure cohesiveness and measurement toward departmental goals
  • Manage relationships with and promotional opportunities with key publishers and media partners
  • Monitor, analyze, and work with agency to execute marketing programs, conduct A/B testing and optimize always-on digital campaigns toensure strong ROI
  • Partner with sales, SDR, and customer success to develop account-based programs that open new and expansion opportunities.
  • Own our nurturing, scoring and routing strategies.
  • Establish quarterly KPIs and benchmarks based on performance and departmental goals, reporting results to key stakeholders on a weeklyand monthly basis
  • Work directly with agencies and sales to develop effective digital programs and campaigns
  • Improve lead progression through the funnel by assisting with development of strategy, management buy-in, and execution and reporting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, and or Communication is a plus.
  • 10+ years’ experience in B2B marketing, demand generation and/or marketing operations, preferably at SaaS or technology companies. Experience managing budgets and hitting monthly goals and spend, revenue and key performance metrics
  • 5+ years leading marketing professionals
  • ABM experience is preferred, ABM knowledge is a must
  • Technical skill with web, marketing automation, salesforce.com, google analytics, ABM technologies is a must.
  • Experience developing a demand generation strategy required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience using Salesforce and Marketing CRM (Marketo, or Eloqua, or Pardot)
  • Prior working experience and knowledge of Sirius Decisions demand gen and account based model for lead progression is preferred
  • Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for digital and lead generation marketing
  • A creative thinker with proven ability to effectively execute integrated and streamlined marketing programs
  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and drive results across teams and at all levels of an organization
  • Prior experience marketing to HR personas is a plus
  • Event marketing or event technology experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills – both spoken and written
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • A multi-tasker that can handle a multitude of different responsibilities at one time
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; must be a self-starter
