We are looking for a Manager of Technical Accounting and Reporting who will function at the heart of our Finance department to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Company’s financial accounting and reporting in accordance with US GAAP. The person in this position will be a key contributor to the Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting team, supporting the Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting.
This is a well-rounded role that offers a combination of technical accounting, operational accounting and financial reporting duties, as well as visibility with our Executive Management team (CFO, CAO, VP Controller, VP FP&A, VP Treasury). This role will also assist with development and maintenance of the company’s accounting policies, including the establishment and implementation of new policies and updates to existing policies as needed.
Other duties associated with this role include assisting in preparation of our financial statements and management reporting packages.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical accounting and US GAAP requirements, exposure to public company reporting requirements, as well as excellent written, communication and organization skills.
