This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except for the State of Alaska, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Employees located within 50 miles of a BHN office will be considered a "Hybrid" employee and are required to come into the office 2 days per week based on office schedule.

Overview:

BHN’s success has led to the creation of Velocity B2B, a business unit that helps merchants manage business-to-business (B2B) gift card programs. By combining deep expertise with industry-leading technology, Velocity B2B helps clients grow B2B gift card sales quickly, securely, and efficiently.

 

Velocity B2B clients benefit from end-to-end program management services while maintaining oversight and control of their brand. Working collaboratively with clients, Velocity B2B provides the following services:

  • Strategy and Business Management
  • Sales, Marketing and Partner Management
  • Program Operations
  • Payment Operations
  • Security, Compliance and Risk Operations (including indemnification)

 

The Account Executive for BHN’s Velocity B2B business unit will serve as an extension of the client’s team, helping drive their B2B gift card business to the next level of success. The candidate will become a seamless addition to the client’s existing capabilities by providing world-class leadership, planning, management, and support for gift card programs and strategy.

Responsibilities:

This position will be an integral part of the client’s team and will have both strategic and operational responsibility for the client’s gift card business initiatives. By leveraging BHN’s expertise, technology, and personnel, the candidate will partner closely with the client to drive additional revenue through gifting and promotional programs.

 

  • Provide strategic and operational consulting expertise to the client to develop a joint strategic plan and approach for profitable growth.
  • Provide ongoing strategic planning expertise and business management in partnership with team members and the client to continuously improve the business in alignment with the client’s overall company strategy.
  • Execute the agreed go-to-market strategy through prospecting and direct sales efforts to expand the client’s buyer base. As part of these sales efforts, represent the client in developing strategic and profitable partnerships across loyalty, incentive, and other innovative distribution channels.
  • Discover, connect, analyze, negotiate, and close high-value agreements and relationships with potential client buyers.
  • Support the buyer base and develop and execute plans to grow sales within existing client accounts.
  • Oversee, project-manage, and coordinate the delivery of any and all Velocity B2B services appropriate for the client account, including program operations, payments, security/compliance, and fraud mitigation.
  • When necessary, serve as the single point of contact responsible for providing frequent updates on gift card initiatives, highlighting successes, and offering insight for further investment in Velocity B2B and BHN services.

Qualifications:

  • BA in Business or Marketing preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales preferably in retail, B2B gift cards, digital gift cards, loyalty marketing, or payments.
  • Proven results in designing, analyzing, and managing revenue-generating gift card programs.
  • Proven success working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong network that helps source and facilitate key relationships.

Key Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the B2B gift card and/or loyalty industry.
  • Excellent presentation and sales skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to integrate analytics into business cases and ROI.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to motivate staff, peers, prospects, and clients.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to develop and use business metrics to assess and continuously improve performance and outcomes.
  • Strong attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • A self-starter with high energy and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Diligent and organized.
  • Experience working with a CRM system such as Salesforce.

Benefits:

OTE for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, California, North Dakota, South Dakota): Up to $135,000.00
