Overview:

As a finance team we:

  • Report the results - Every four weeks we report on the performance of the company. We aim to deliver timely, reliable results to our stakeholders;
  • Provide insight – we use our expertise to analyze the numbers and present our insights to our partners across the business to assist them with their decision making;
  • Safeguard the assets of the company: We achieve this through detailed analysis of the numbers and maintaining a rigorous control environment;
  • Challenge and improve processes: We work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Every member of the team has a focus on challenging processes and finding better ways to deliver the three points above.

Responsibilities:

We operate as One Team, whilst we have our individual responsibilities, we are also flexible and support each other as and when the need arises.

 

The key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to support business needs.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Build efficient data transformations (Power Query / M) and DAX measures to enable accurate analysis and self service reporting.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and deliver clear, concise insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across datasets and reports.
  • Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, usability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with data engineering/IT to integrate new data sources and improve data pipelines.
  • Create and maintain documentation for datasets, reports, and processes.
  • Train and support business users on Power BI usage and best practices.
  • Support ad hoc project work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in an Analyst / BI / Data role.
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling, Row Level Security, workspace and report management).
  • Solid SQL skills for querying and validating data from relational databases.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data transformation (e.g., ETL tools, Power Query, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to non‑technical stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Knowledge of Oracle and GAAP
  • Excel skills – competent manipulating data and using SUMIFS, VLOOKUP and Pivot tables. Our recruitment process includes a short Excel test
  • Previous business partnering experience desirable

Benefits:

Salary Range for California Residents Only: $68,380.00 to $88,915.00
