Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Staff Program Manager leader to join the Product and Technology (P&T) Business Operations team. Reporting to the Director of Business Operations and Program Management, you will play a key role in shaping product strategy and driving cross-functional decision-making by leveraging data to drive decisions, optimizing user experiences, and unlocking new opportunities.

As theSr. Staff Program Manager leader within Product and Tech Strategy & Operations, you will establish centralized analytics capabilities and governance for the Product & Tech organization. While BHN has existing data teams and analysts, this role creates the first dedicated product analytics function within the central ops team, defining how we measure product performance, usage, and outcomes consistently across product lines.

You will be responsible for managing data governance and processes as well as collecting, analyzing and summarizing product data collected directly or indirectly through data analytics platforms within Product Lines, business intelligence tools and other systems being used in the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Build the product analytics practice for Product & Technology: Define how we measure product success, establish metrics standards, create self-service capabilities, and build the operating cadence for product analytics across teams
  • End-to-end analytics solutions: Design, implement, and manage end-to-end analytics solutions to measure product usage, user behavior, and business outcomes.
  • Break down data silos: Establish unified metrics definitions and reporting standards across Product Lines to ensure consistent measurement and decision-making
  • Knowledge Management: Create and maintain centralized documentation of metrics definitions, data sources, and analytical methodologies to institutionalize knowledge
  • Partner with Product, Engineering & Leadership: Collaborate with Data Product, Engineering and Finance to help build the right data foundation
  • Own data governance from a product perspective: Set up data governance processes and communicate throughout Product Lines; enable data accuracy and integrity by working closely with teams to define tracking specifications and validate implementation.
  • Shape product strategy with data-driven insights: Translate data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations to improve product performance and business outcomes
  • Develop self-service analytics tools: Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service tools to democratize access to product data and to empower teams
  • Stay current with analytics trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve analytical capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in product analytics, with demonstrated ability to build analytics capabilities in growth-stage or maturing organizations
  • Prior experience as founding or establishing the function is preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL (required) and at least one analytical programming language (Python, R)
  • Experience with modern analytics stacks and AI-powered analytics tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT for analysis)
  • Experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Proven experience leading analytics initiatives and partnering with product teams
  • Strong analytical thinking with ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to develop insights for stakeholders
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and initiatives
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, with a strong understanding of machine learning concepts.
  • Familiarity with development processes and tools like JIRA or Confluence

Success in This Role Looks Like:

  • Within 90 days: Audit existing analytics capabilities, identify gaps, and create roadmap
  • Within 6 months: Establish core dashboards and self-service tools with demonstrated cross-team adoption
  • Within 1 year: Measurable reduction in time-to-insight for product decisions and increased data-driven decision velocity across P&T

 

 

 

Benefits:

Salary Range for California Residents Only: $157,030.00 to $212,000.00

Salary Range for Illinois Residents Only: $125,100.00 to $168,900.00
