We're looking for a product visionary who helps identify and solve customer problems, builds business cases, writes requirement documents, creates product documents, reviews and recaps customer feedback, and understands the competitive landscape for online commerce direct to consumer business. The Senior Product Manager will work well with ambiguity and is willing to dive into the details to execute in a rapidly evolving work and market environment. Reporting to the Senior Director Product Management, this individual will partner with global business stakeholders across all territories to develop global product solutions and go-to-market plans for online commerce.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Product Vision & Strategy: Define and evolve the product vision and strategy for the global giftcards.com (D2C) platform, aligning with business goals and product outcomes that are rooted in customer needs.
  • End-to-End Product Ownership: Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact features.
  • Roadmap Development: Build and maintain a clear, data-informed product roadmap in collaboration with engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Customer-Centric Design: Champion user experience by continuously improving customer journeys and driving UX/UI enhancements based on feedback and analytics.
  • Data Infrastructure and Customer Intelligence: Build comprehensive customer profiles and data infrastructure that drives personalized experiences and business optimization. Implement customer segmentation based on purchase behavior, demographic data and gifting patterns to targeted marketing campaigns and product recommendations.
  • Advanced Analytics and Performance Optimization: Develop analytics capabilities to track key performance metrics including conversion rates, customer lifetime value, cart abandonment, and seasonal trends through real-time dashboards. Leverage data insights for continuous optimization through A/B testing, site speed improvements and conversion funnel analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with engineering, design, analytics, marketing and business teams to translate data insights into actional product improvements and strategic initiatives.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive landscape and emerging technologies in e-commerce and data analytics to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build compelling business cases and present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership, articulating ROI and customer impact of product initiatives
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Lead product launches, including planning, communication, training, and post-launch analysis.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions, measure success, and iterate quickly.
  • Influence Without Authority: Inspire and align cross-functional teams through strong communication, collaboration, and a shared vision for the product.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in product management or a related technical field.
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end product development, from concept through launch and iteration.
  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Rally).
  • Expertise in writing clear product specifications, user stories, and use case flows.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage diverse stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
  • Passion for building customer-centric products that deliver measurable value.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct to Consumer or equivalent business experience.
  • Domain knowledge in Payments, Gift Cards, or eCommerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with API-based products, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with supply chain, logistics, or fulfillment systems.
  • Ability to conduct competitive analysis and translate insights into product strategy.

Benefits:

Salary Range for California Residents Only: $133,920.00 to $180,800.00

Salary Range for Illinois Residents Only: $105,770.00 to $142,800.00

 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Blackhawk Network offers benefits including 401k with employer match, medical, dental, vision, 12 paid holidays in the year 2025, 1 hour of sick pay accrual for every 30 hours worked, parental leave, life insurance, disability insurance, accident and illness insurance, health and dependent care flexible spending accounts, wellness benefits, and flexible time off for all full-time employees.
