Overview:

Blackhawk Network is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical individual to join our Risk Audit Team as a Risk Analyst I. In this role, you'll help safeguard the integrity of our digital gift card ecosystem by identifying and analyzing fraudulent activity across a wide range of eCommerce transactions. The online gift card space is both high-volume and high-risk, making fraud prevention a vital function for ensuring customer trust and brand protection. This is a collaborative, fast-paced environment where you'll have the opportunity to apply investigative thinking, learn from experienced risk professionals, and make independent, data-driven decisions that have real impact.

 

This is a Hybrid role out of our Portland, ME office (Mondays & Tuesdays in office).

Responsibilities:

• Audit decisioned gift card orders to detect fraudulent activity

• Identify trends and patterns in fraud behavior using internal tools and reports

• Analyze risk data and take appropriate action based on findings

• Provide timely feedback to improve fraud rules, workflows, and team processes

• Collaborate with team members to stay informed on emerging fraud tactics

• Communicate findings clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in financial services, fraud, or risk-related fields

• Strong analytical skills and ability to make sound, data-informed decisions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general familiarity with Microsoft Office tools

• Comfortable working in high-volume, deadline-driven environments

• Experience using online research tools and social media platforms for investigation

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay focused while reviewing large data sets

• Investigative background is a plus

 

Benefits:

Salary Range for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, California, North Dakota, South Dakota): $48,380.00 to $60,000.00
