Overview:

Come join our Identity engineering team to help us grow our best-in-industry Identity platform. Our mission is to create a seamless widget and API based identity solution that delivers a seamless, user friendly and consistent identity functions that are secure, scalable and compliant with industry standards.

 

We're looking for a full stack Software Engineer with a strong sense of individual agency: When you see problems, you can’t help but look for solutions, and you have a track record of delivering on them.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn everything about identity systems, security, authentication and authorization, identity federation.
  • Have a voice in the future direction for the platform
  • Build Restful webservices deployed on AWS Cloud utilizing AWS services like EC2, ECS, Lambda, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, ALB and much more.
  • Build customer facing identity widgets that’ll serve Blackhawk customers across the globe
  • Work with Risk and Infosec teams to protect the products from fraud, ATO and other threats.
  • Learn about payment industry with in-depth knowledge gains on types of fraud occurring in the industry.
  • Stand up for good customers even when it’s difficult.
  • Support and inspire your peers.
  • Solve complex problems well.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience
  • Working experience in Java
  • Database experience – Relational or NoSQL
  • Good knowledge on JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React + Node JS
  • Bonus: Experience working in the AWS cloud ecosystem
