Overview:

As a Senior UX Designer at Blackhawk Network, you will play a crucial role in designing intuitive and engaging user experiences for our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to create user-centered designs that meet both user needs and business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process from concept to final implementation, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with technical constraints.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain innovative and competitive.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Experience with user research and usability testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
