Overview:

We are currently looking for a Hybrid Mobile App developer to contribute to the technical development of one of our global platforms. As a fintech business, technology and platforms which underpin our products are at the heart of what we do.  We are highly focused on ensuring all that these platforms are architected and built using established best practices and give us a robust foundation to drive our products. You will be working with a team of product owners, developers, testers and product managers and contribute to the development of new functionality and maintenance of existing functionality on our platforms.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Mobile app development for a key global platform, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Design and implement new functionalities, as well as optimize and maintain existing features.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications.
  • Promote best practices in code quality, testing, and mobile architecture.
  • Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and trends to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • BA+2+ years experience in software development
  • Experience in mobile development with expertise in Swift (5+), SwiftUI, UIKit, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin
  • Experience with hybrid frameworks like React Native, Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform or Ionic.
  • Proficiency in both iOS and Android development, including MVVM, Jetpack Compose, Retrofit, App Clips, and Instant Apps.
  • Strong understanding of mobile architecture components (e.g., Coroutines, Dependency Injection, POP, SOLID principles).
  • Experience with payment SDKs, biometric authentication, and secure data handling (JWT, Keychain).
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing, UI testing, and tools like Instruments for performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of Universal Links, Passkit, Push Notifications, and Accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Bamboo, Octopus, Git), and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and capable of learning new technologies quickly.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with Moya, Firebase, Alamofire, Fastlane, RxSwift, Combine, and CoreData.
  • Backend experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, Elasticsearch, and cloud services like AWS.
  • Experience in messaging/queueing mechanisms (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and testing frameworks like NUnit.

Benefits:

Salary Range for California Residents Only: $115,800.00 to $156,340.00

Salary Range for Illinois Residents Only: $89,620.00 to $121,000.00
