Overview:

We are looking for an Accountant III to be a part of our Global Accounting Team reporting to the Senior Revenue Manager.  In this role, through your primary responsibilities you will assist in maintaining and ensuring the integrity of our financials.  You will establish and maintain the accounting of our open loop products as well as support the business on future and new product offerings.  The position is responsible for period end close activities, account reconciliations, process improvements and documentation, and projects as assigned.  To be successful in this role, the candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, possess the ability to influence, negotiate, and have successful working relationships with multiple cross functional teams and should be able to interact effectively with multiple cross functional teams, including but not limited to: FP&A, Business Development, Sales, Account Management, Legal, Marketing, and Operations. We are also looking for someone who thrives and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to support our continued growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for period end duties including journal entries, maintaining waterfall schedules, and analyzing actuals to support accurate reporting of financial results
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and drive resolutions to resolve any variances
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly invoicing, ensuring adherence with various complex contracts
  • Responsible for working with internal and external parties to resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Provide on-going support to various business partners
  • Identify and implement process improvements for area of responsibility

Qualifications:

  • BA/ BS in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum 5+ years of related accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP System, Microsoft D365 a plus
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills needed to develop collaborative working relationships
  • Ability to work independently and resourcefully to take on new tasks with varying levels of difficulty and see them through to completion

Benefits:

Salary Range for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, California, North Dakota, South Dakota): $69, 830.00 to $86,708.00
