Data Engineer/Analyst

Hybrid-Remote Available (2-3 Days in the office/virtual)

Blackhawk Network is seeking a Software Engineer, Data to support and expand business intelligence and reporting efforts.  Candidate will work closely with stakeholders to design, develop, and implement self-service tools and scheduled reports in addition to building new data pipelines.

• Develop reports, dashboards, and self-service tools for internal and external clients that drive effective business decisions
• Develop real-time ETL processes
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand business processes, participate in requirements gathering, and provide solutions
• Engage in data exploration
• Complete ad-hoc analyses
• Evaluate key performance metrics and identify trends
• Monitor and support reporting job execution to ensure SLAs on external deliverables are met
• Perform code and design review

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent degree/experience.
• 2+ years of experience using ETL tools (e.g. Talend, Informatica, etc). 
• 2+ years of experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
• SQL proficiency
• Knowledge of relational databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in troubleshooting technical issues
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in an Agile environment
