Overview:

Blackhawk Network is looking for a seasoned Director of Solution Consulting to lead, develop and drive our technical solution consulting practice across all global Blackhawk sales channels, including partners and clients.  This role will be critical in building and embedding the pre-sales solution consulting capability globally.  This team’s main objectives are to improve revenue acquisition by enabling business development teams to focus time and effort on building relationships and advancing the sales process, reducing time to revenue by clarifying technical needs and agreements with customers, and improving the customer experience.  The Solution Consulting team is responsible for providing technical guidance and support to the business development and account management teams to drive the sale of products and services to both prospective and existing Blackhawk Clients.  

 

This leader will work cross functionally with our technology, product, operations, and sales teams to ensure the team has access to required information to effectively support the sales process.  This person will also partner with these cross functional teams to build scalable processes, align on expectations, and manage the capacity of the team to focus on the highest value opportunities for Blackhawk.

 

This person must possess strong communication skills, have built, and led similar solution consulting or sales engineering teams, and demonstrated an ability to improve pre-sales effectiveness at scale.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science or other Technical Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years solution consulting experience.
  • 3 – 5 years experience with people management.
  • Experience in creating and managing business requirements documents.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, flowcharting

    Travel:

  Ability to travel up to 25% per month post COVID
