• Perform all phases of software engineering including design, development, testing, and deployment in an Agile software development environment
• Define, design, and develop best features using various languages and cloud technologies, we primarily use JavaScript, Python and AWS cloud
• Collaborate with other teams, conduct new technology research for product development, and recommend product enhancements
• Actively participate in code reviews, analyze results, and choose the best solution
• Work closely with product managers to ensure the availability, scalability, resilience, and observability of platforms are prioritized
• Continuously enhance the functional and technical capability of existing software products
• Work closely with the delivery team members including architecture, engineering, QA, infrastructure, support, and technical operations
• Participate in Information Security analysis and remediation
• Lead the investigation and resolution of any key technical issues and communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders
• Be a technical mentor for Junior engineers

• 3-5 years hands-on software development experience with object oriented and functional software engineering using JavaScript, Python, React, Java, or similar
• Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture
• Experience deploying in a cloud environment, preferably Amazon Web Services
• Hands-on experience designing and building REST services with Microservice and distributed application architecture
• Experience working with web user interface technologies such as ReactJS and LESS
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, RDS, SQS, Route 53, CloudFormation, Elasticache, Containers and Serverless technologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn new coding languages and develop creatively
• Ability to work and assist in the growth of new team members
• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
