    Overview:

    We are looking for a HR Business Partner (HRBP) Director to support our Retail Sales at Blackhawk. This individual will partner with the Leaders of the Retail Sales team to support and grow our Retail Sales team within the Blackhawk structure.  The HRBP Director will also partner closely with corporate human resources partners to ensure the successful launch of all corporate HR programs for the Retail Sales Team located in multiple locations throughout the United States.  This position will report directly to the Vice President, Talent Management who is located in Fenton, MO.  

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Learn, understand and enhance the Retail Sales and Blackhawk’s business strategy, product portfolio, corporate goals, and culture to support One Team.
    • Establish partnerships across assigned business unit to deliver value added HR service to management in an effort to create a great place to work
    • Analyze metrics and propose solutions and programs to improve employee engagement, morale, productivity and retention.
    • Provide coaching to Senior Leaders on people topics to help drive business success
    • Provide performance management guidance to managers and partner with managers regarding employee relations issues
    • Manage the roll out of various corporate employee programs, projects and new hire orientation
    • Partner with the corporate HR Operations team regarding on-boarding and off-boarding processes and ensure related tasks are in compliance with company standards/certifications
    • Perform various other HR duties as assigned in support of corporate initiatives
    • Assist with Sales on-boarding and Partner with Sales Operations Leaders on Sales Compensation Planning

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources Business Partner experience
    • Experience with and strong working knowledge of employment law, practices, policies, and models
    • Prior experience supporting a Sales organization is recommended
    • Strong project management and process development skills
    • Demonstrated knowledge in a range of HR areas, including employee relations, performance management, and regulatory compliance
    • Experience working as an HR Business Partner with all levels of the organization with proven ability to interface well with all leadership levels
    • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
    • Team player with a strong client service orientation
    • Experience managing and mentoring HR professionals
    • Proven ability to take initiative and exercise excellent judgment
    • Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication ability
    • Able to multi-task, learn, problem solve, prioritize, set and attain goals, and work independently
    • Solid business management and handling of confidential information
    • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills preferred
    • Experience with Success Factors, Workday or other HCM systems preferred

     

     

    Education

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field required / Master’s degree preferred
    • HR certification preferred
