As a Program Manager within Blackhawk Network’s ePMO group, we are looking for a driven individual with exceptional project management skills and a technical background that can work collaboratively within a global, matrixed and fast-paced environment.  This role would lead and manage enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and work in close collaboration with product and engineering teams, other internal and external stakeholder groups to develop and execute product.
You will be directly working with a set of highly motivated groups of hardware, software team that thrives on solving challenging problems with innovative solutions. 



  • Manage delivery of technology initiatives (eCommerce, Business Systems, Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications and others) 
  • Work with cross-functional teams comprising business, product management, engineering, vendors, and support teams to ensure on time, on budget, quality delivery of solutions that support business and technology strategy 
  • Develop strong working relationships in the business and technology teams  over time 
  • Proactively and aggressively manage expectations with stakeholders regarding deliverables, timelines and budget 
  • Ability to communicate (written and verbal) at all levels (business and technology leadership, project teams, peers) 
  • Interest and aptitude to ramp up quickly on new technologies and processes 
  • Provide project status to management on a regular basis; Support senior project/program resources on large scale initiatives 
  • Effectively identify, assess, prioritize and manage project risks and issues.  Ensure timely escalation to senior PMO leads and to key stakeholders 


  • 6+ years of experience in IT project management, management consulting or similar discipline.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field 
  • Strong technical background desired 
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Rally, Confluence, Portfolio management tools is preferable 
  • Technical knowledge of: MS Project, Visio, MS Office 
  • Good understanding of SDLC 
  • Experience managing initiatives involving design and implementation of new strategic capabilities, business process improvements or automation, or enhancements to existing systems 
  • Good understanding of or experience working in the payments industry and ecommerce domain is a plus 
  • Self-motivated, creative with a high-level of energy, excellent interpersonal, and organizational skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast changing environment
